The very first Encycleopedias predated the internet as we know it today and the concept was so innovative that most of the mainstream bike businesses really didn’t understand what we were doing, which was okay because the original idea was to give a platform to new innovative companies.
By the time the last Encycleopedia, No 7, was published in 2003 even the established brands wanted to take part. For example Shimano revealed their brand new Nexave C910 di2 (digitally integrated intelligence), nearly ten years before the technology became widespread.
